Sunstone Beauty Bar was founded in 2022 by Gissel Ivette Disla, whose personal experience with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) became the foundation of the brand’s mission. Like many women, she struggled with symptoms such as unwanted hair growth, hyperpigmentation, and skin sensitivity, which deeply impacted her confidence and relationship with her skin.

Determined to better understand and manage these concerns, she immersed herself in skincare and hair removal techniques, not just to treat the surface, but to address the root causes with care and intention. What began as a personal journey evolved into Sunstone Beauty Bar — a space designed for women experiencing hormonal conditions, including PCOS and Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), as well as those facing similar skin challenges.
